Meet the Owner
Helping you rise to peak performance
Hi, I’m Abby—owner of Mountaintop Massage & Body.
I’ve always been drawn to understanding the human body and finding ways to help people feel better in it. From a young age, I was curious about how the body works and how to support healing in a meaningful way. That passion led me to pursue massage therapy, and I graduated from A.S.I.S. Massage School in Flagstaff, Arizona in 2012.
Since then, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings, including medical offices, physical therapy clinics, hospital environments, spas, and massage clinics. These experiences have shaped a well-rounded, results-driven approach and deepened my understanding of both clinical and therapeutic care.
In 2016, I founded Mountaintop Massage & Body in downtown Prescott with the goal of creating a space where clients receive intentional, effective bodywork tailored to their individual needs.
I specialize in:
-
Injury rehabilitation
-
Pre- and post-natal care
-
Post-surgical recovery
-
Myofascial release
-
Ashiatsu (barefoot massage)
-
Therapeutic and medical massage
My work goes beyond muscles, I focus heavily on the fascia, the connective tissue system that supports and connects the entire body. I also take a nervous system-based approach, recognizing that the state of the nervous system plays a critical role in pain, muscle tension, and movement patterns.
By working to regulate the nervous system, shifting the body out of a chronic stress response and into a more balanced state, I’m able to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support more lasting, functional results.
I use both hands and feet in my sessions, allowing me to deliver deep, effective, and controlled pressure, especially through Ashiatsu barefoot massage. This approach provides a unique combination of depth and support that is difficult to achieve with hands alone.
In addition to hands-on techniques, I incorporate a variety of tools when appropriate, including:
-
Cupping
-
Steel Gua Sha (scraping techniques)
-
Percussion therapy
Every session is fully customized. I use whatever modality or tool best supports the needs of your body in that moment—there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
I love what I do so much that I continue to expand my education, currently focusing on biomechanics and ergonomic assessments to better understand how people move and function in their daily lives.
I am truly passionate about this work and feel grateful to serve our community. Helping people move better, feel better, and live with less pain is something I plan to continue doing for many years to come.
Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active, continuing to live the same movement-focused lifestyle I encourage for my clients.
